The Silver Lining
Daniel & Patricia Gouw Wedding by David

Feb 2024

Daniel and Patricia’s wedding day started with rain pouring down from the sky. But that didn’t stop anyone from having a blast. Despite the dreary weather, the atmosphere was buzzing with excitement. Patricia, she is a ray of sunshine. Always smiling, cracking jokes, and spreading joy everywhere she goes. And Daniel, he is the calm anchor in the storm, remaining wise and steady by her side.

Then, something magical happened during the Holy Matrimony. As everyone sang worship songs, the rain stopped, and the clouds parted, revealing a bright sky. It was like a sign from above, blessing their union. Biblically speaking, rain is a sign of blessing, symbolizing a downpour of good things from God, hence the phrase “Silver Lining”. Daniel and Patricia soaked in every moment, their love shining through despite the raindrops.

But the weather had more surprises in store. Later that night, a strong wind blew in, and they had to switch venues in a hurry. Did it dampen the spirits? Not one bit. The laughter continues, the smiles never fade. The rain and the wind become part of the story, making the day even more unforgettable. It’s funny how sometimes, the unexpected things make the best memories.

Dear Dan & Pat, Happy Anniversary!

May you always find the silver linings in every path of your lives.

Cheers,
David
