Imagine having a clingy boyfriend who doesn’t bombard you with constant texts and never-ending video calls but is instead ten times more huggable! That’s precisely how I’d describe my relationship with my dogs.

The reason dogs follow us to the bathroom is their unwavering loyalty and the simple desire to be wherever we are. They genuinely crave your company, and who knows, there might be a bathroom monster lurking in the shadows, in which case, your trusty sidekick stands ready to shield you. Pretty cool, right? They’re truly furry superheroes, just like Ace the Bat-Hound, and of course, you’re Batman.

So, what can we do to keep our dogs patient while we take care of “business”? Keep your four-legged companion entertained by offering a fun distraction, like a lick mat, for example. Whatever you choose, ensure it can hold their attention for the entire duration and isn’t an item they’d rather drag into the bathroom themselves.

But let’s face it, it’s often easier to let them snuggle up at your feet.

After all, it’s their endearing way of saying, “I’ve got your back, even in the bathroom.”
