One afternoon, in Croatia, I sat down to admire the view. The sun painted the crimson sun as it set. I watched the flowers next to me and noticed something simple, and yet so beautiful. That flower soaked in the last rays of the sun and danced to the wind, without a care in the world about how it looked.

I took a deep breath. Isnt it amazing to not care at all? To forget about the style of your hair, the color of your lips, the wrinkles under your eyes, or the size of your body? To not give a care at all of what other people thought of you?

That evening, as I watched the sun fade, I promised to care a little less about what I looked like, instead, surrender myself, wholeheartedly, to the feelings I experienced inside. Beauty will fade, but emotions and experiences, and those little big things we call feelings. they are here to stay.

Life is really about the way you live rather than the way you look. Boost your confidence. Look for opportunities to boost your self-esteem and make you love yourself more. We were all created with flaws anyway, the difference lies in our responses to it, in how we love and accept it. Be kind and gentle with yourself. Take the time to look at yourself in the mirror and fall in love with the reflection that God created. In knowing that you were created in His image, you will realize that you are beautiful, no matter what. And just like the wildflowers, you will soak in the sun and dance in the wind without a care in the world about how you look, because you know that you are beautiful!

Love,

Fen
