Welcoming November
Beauty in every season by Fen by felicia

A wise man once told me : “Life is like climbing mountains and once in a while, it’s good to pause and look back to see and give thanks for the journeys we have experienced, the trophy we have won, new friends we have met, and the blessings along the way”

Usually November is the best time for me to look at my list of the new year resolution that I made last year,  just before I entered January. But this time instead of check listing what I have achieved, I stop for a little while and thanking God for all He has done.

This year we have been privileged to see the all the seasons: winter, spring, summer and autumn in the different continents. Here I want to share my journey through my journal: Instagram and the lessons I have learned this year.

1. MAKE EVERY MOMENT COUNT

We often want to change what happened in our past or we are terrified of what might happen in our future and we forget to enjoy our present.  Try to make every moment matter because whats done is done and you shouldnt let anything interfere with your happiness. Make time for the things or for the people you love and make every single moment count! After all, you dont need all the riches in the world to live a healthy and fulfilled life, just the right attitude!

2. WAITING FOR THE PERFECT MOMENT

There is no such thing as the perfect moment! Take a moment and make it perfect! Youll never feel ready enough for everything so take a chance and value every opportunity you get. I absolutely love this quote by Angel Chernoff,: You will come to succeed not by finding a perfect moment, but by learning to see and use lifes imperfections perfectly.

3. STOP COMPARING YOURSELF TO OTHERS

This is another very destructive behavior you should try to correct so youll be able to focus on your own happiness instead of spending all your energy caring about what other people do. Often time we are already happy with what we have, until you find out what other people have. That’s what we call comparative happiness. Have a little more trust in your abilities and focus on your resources and not only on your flaws. One of the best feeling in the world is you look at the mirror and you smile.

“Winter is an etching, spring a watercolor, summer an oil painting and autumn a mosaic of them all.”

xoxo,

Fen
