Here's a second installment of Adrian & Sisca photos, and you guessed it right...this time a couple of pigs came along for the shoot. Their obsession with pigs came up during our concept meeting, starting from soft toys, high school nickname and yes both born in the year of pig. So we started auditioning and found two lovely pigs to play along with them. Next up, we'll bring elephant & giraffe for our shoot (just kidding..)

By the way, these pigs aren't trained for photo shoot, not like the ones in Babe the movie. The pillows surely helped getting them to stay still for a while.

Officially the wackiest, craziest, and the most "interesting" couple we shot in 2010! We couldn't stop laughing from morning all the way to the end of the reception. I don't even know where to begin to describe this particular day!

There was the beautiful and touching wedding ceremony, then there was the Bajaj arrival and the extravagant reception entrance, add on top of that the wacky couple who kept us laughing the whole day. There were so many memorable moments in this wedding that I think it's best that you all just watch this trailer that we made to get a feel of how crazy the day went for us.

By the way, the couple "insisted" that we use "I've got a Feeling" as the song in their trailer, and since it was used not so long ago for another wedding trailer we made, we decided to dig deeper, and came up with this... Enjoy. Cheers to the wacky couple!

We just have to show you this clip that we made for Andry and Enzy as their same day edit. It's rewarding when you see the bride and groom smiling from ear to ear watching the clip when we played it in their reception. Some of the scenes are hilarious. I hope you guys enjoy the clip as much as I do.

You've seen Andry and Enzy in the photos that David posted a few days ago of their trip to Europe. While they were in Europe, they (they as in the couple and our dearest David) suddenly had a crazy idea to make a short story for their video clip. I really have to give my props to David for coming up with a cute story in such a short period of time, and hats off to both Andry and Enzy for being able to pull it off beautifully.

In preparing your wedding, you would naturally want everything to be perfect. From the date, the vendors, the place... and of course finding a perfect partner. And on that day you cross your finger and hold your breath (not recommended) hoping that everything would be... perfect.

But the truth is, there's never such a thing as a PERFECT wedding. There's always minor little things that could be improved. Things are not always as smooth as you wanted them to be on that big day.

As I watch Roderick and Sally's wedding day, I realized that for them, it really doesn't matter whether the date, the shoe and the dress is, as we call it, perfect. But what really matters for them is just having each other, and spending every moment with the people that really matters to them. And just because they have each other, everything automatically becomes.. Perfect. And we are truly honored, to be a part of their, perfect wedding day.

A few months ago we shot for Adrian & Siska pre-wedding session in Bangkok, a land of smiles, great food and shopping heaven. We love Bangkok. No matter what happened the last few weeks, with the riots and unrest, we believe Bangkok will spring back in no time (we've even booked tickets to go there again).

For Adrian & Siska, it really doesn't matter where they have their pre-wedding session. In a random conversation, we decided to have it in Bangkok. They are the type that's always cheerful, playful and so ready for the camera. Not wanting to be somebody else, they both actively came up with ideas and poses. Looking at their photos, you can't help but smile. When couples have this much fun, it's contagious and addictive for me to keep shooting. We actually did another session in Jakarta, which has to go on another post.

For those who gets to know Putra & Stephanie, you'll agree with me that they are so sweet to each other, almost like teenagers in love. We took on the idea "Boy meets girl" for their pre-wedding session, elaborating the idea around their dating moments. Looking back, their life is a series of simple moments together, from dates in the library, cooking together, walk in the park and much more that finally gets them to say "I do". And of course Shoco their tibetan dog wants to be in every shot.

Just when most Northern Europe was in air traffic chaos due to Iceland volcanic eruption, we were enjoying our time in Santorini. Located on the southern tip of Europe, we saw blue sky and none of that mess you see on TV. Well that's only part of the story, the other side of the story was we were pulling our hair rescheduling the remaining of our trip, switch to plan B instead. Wasn't the easiest to book new flights and hotel, but we're glad to have it all worked out (instead we even got to shoot in Rome, that's not in the original plan). There's a saying that goes, when life gives you lemons, you make lemonade. But for us, it seems like when life gives you lemons, we made more than just lemonade, we added some vodka and then party all night long.

Shooting for Andry & Enzy feels more like our honeymoon trip, a.k.a. Sweet Escape, instead of a pre-wedding shoot. It's sooo relaxing, like traveling with an old buddy, kept eating new food, ordering things we couldn't pronounce like Ouzo. Traveling light and flexible itinerary proved to be a good recipe for us to have fun whatever comes our way. So many stories of this trip for me to write, but instead of boring you with all the words, let the photos speak for itself. Enjoy :)

Oh yes by the way, if you're curious what the title says "σ 'αγαπώ", it means "I love you" in greek.

Woohaaa....it's been a while since my last blog. Been away for a while for trips to Sydney, Melbourne and then a sun tanning pre-wedding to Raja Ampat in Irian. Of which i'll get to post them soon :)

But for now here's Steven & Stefani portraits with a dash of romantic glamour and a twist of humor. I'm noticing a trend here, it used to be the girls who are more excited, knows exactly what they want for their pre-wedding photos, what to wear, where to shoot, how it will all turn out. Lately it's slowly changing...the guys want a piece of the action too. Especially Steven who loves photography, he's so into planning for this shoot, from what he'll be wearing and even checked out the locations first. Thumbs up to both of you.

So we invite all guys to jump in and have fun planning for your pre-wedding photos. You'll cherish your moments and even say 'That's my idea'.

The two words "simply amazing" is actually an oxymoron. What is an oxymoron? It's using two completely opposite words, words that contradict each other, to form a remark. Like "bitter sweet" or "chaotic order". But that's what I see in this wedding. Hardy and Eliz are just two people who are simply in love. And because they are so much in love, that makes the whole wedding.. amazing.

Oh well.. there are also other factors like how much fun Hardy is as a groom, how Eliz's wonderful 2 sisters kept the whole day alive with their clever remarks, and the fact that they have an orchestra in their Wedding Ceremony.

But when I try to summarize the whole wedding, the only words that came up to my mind is that two words.. Simply Amazing. Congrats to the happy couple!
