I had the best of time shooting for Kusno & Reny in Singapore. As they were sharing their dating years in high school, images of them wearing high school uniform pop in my mind. I thought that could make a really cute shot, which it did.

Yippee!!! Every now and then I get to shoot pre-wedding with my wife Helen. This time it's for Vincent & Lilyana in Bali.

As many of you know by now that when I shoot, I love shooting in several different locations and keep the shutter clicking. So to our surprise, Vincent told us he only brought 3 pairs of outfits. Actually I prefer to have more...ha ha to me the more the merrier. Anyway, nothing can stop us from having fun in Bali.

Let me introduce you to Frank & Catherine...the luckiest couple ever. We first met in Skype, yes you heard me right. We did most of our concept meeting and planning through Skype. Though a little awkward, I rather enjoy this interesting process, especially with the time difference Jakarta - LA. We ended up choosing to shoot around the vintage 50's theme in their memorable spots.

I met this cute couple in Melbourne after having a marathon shoot in Sydney. They reminded me of that movie "Going the distance" featuring Drew Barrymore and Justin Long. Have you watched it? The story about a couple's search for love and keeping their love strong even during long distance relationship. For Dani & Vera, theirs is the Samarinda - Melbourne version, instead of the NYC - San Francisco featured in the movie.

Polarity = the state of having two opposite or contradictory tendencies. But here's the twist, that's what glued Gundy & Shuyee together for the last ten years. They have been dating since high school, knowing each others' habits in details, the good, the bad and the ugly. Yet they know this is what they are after, very soon they will tie the knot in Singapore.

You must be wondering who's Moto Moto? That's a little inside joke amongst the couple during our crazy road trip in South Africa, a cute nickname for the lovely couple Edric & Anita. It doesn't take long for all three couples, Edric & Anita, Jeff & Cecil and of course my wife & I to connect, a little credit to African wines and Jagerbomb ;p

We had such a great time together in Africa. The photographs are great, but much more than that, our moments together is priceless. We laughed so much that i think we got younger from this trip.

When we first met with Davey & Diana, they have narrowed down the ideas to a Broadway concept, not only for their pre-wedding but also through out their wedding; the music, the event, the invitation, and other creative details. It's great to see how a couple's pre-wedding brings out their personality and character.

This is just getting better :) Lately I keep getting interesting clients, like Basri & Nasha. When I first met them, i knew their photo session will be great. As they began to tell me their love story, i can't stop imagining how it really happened. It all started from Coldplay's concert. That's where they first fell in love. Of course there's so much more details along the way, all the dating and getting to know each other which eventually leads to the dramatic proposal on a Helicopter above Hong Kong.

I always ask how our couples meet, how did it all happen. Aren't you curious? It's one of those things that makes our job so fun, is getting to hear all these love stories that color our day.

What if you are late for your pre wedding shooting? Don't worry, keep smiling and go all out! That's what i learn from Joshua and Yuliana, though we started very late because things happened to them, they were very calm and kept smiling all day long :)

Joshua is a musician and also a vocal teacher along with Yuliana who's in the same ministry with him. It's not everyday that i get guys comes more prepared & excited for the photoshoot in Bali than the girl. Most often it's the other way around.
