Indian weddings are my favorite kind of weddings, so I was so excited when I heard that I'll be shooting at one. Especially when I met the gorgeous couple for the very first time to discuss about their wedding day. WOW... that's all I can say! The bride was super beautiful and sexy and the groom, handsome and cool. I knew right then and there that this event was going to be special!

Every time I think of these two people, one word comes to mind: YOLO! (You Only Live Once!) That word was everywhere on the day of their wedding, shouted by everyone closest to them – bridesmaids, groomsmen among other s– something that says what this couple really lives for: living life to the fullest, because you only live once!

We weren't sure how to make a good wedding video at first. We saw others' videos and we thought, wow, they are so elaborate, with storyline etc. So we just went along with whatever we know & let it naturally happen. We wanted to reflect a beautiful and romantic scene, so we chose bali. I brought my guitar, and Anita booked the same resort where I proposed to her.

First we shopped for clothes, anita brought 2-3 summer dress, while I brought summer suit & shorts. We got matching T shirts, with A&F letters to symbolize our initials. We were nervous at first, not knowing what to say. I thought of using a recent scientific breakthru that is the discovery of the higgs boson-the particle that created all things that exists around us-as a way to symbolize how I found love thru Anita, that created a big new world for me and her.

Garry and the axioo team was very friendly, encouraging and open minded. They put us at ease immediately, letting us just be ourselves, enjoying the moments and capturing those raw natural feelings on camera. They also managed to capture the beauty of nature in bali, making us blend so well with the wonderful scenery and setting. The result of the video was fantastic! It was a surprise because we only saw it during our wedding day. I'm super happy with the result of the video by garry. It looks like a hollywood blockbuster! I also received so many praises from our friends about the movie, it made the bride and groom look like super star, they said.

The team is amazingly talented, friendly, and fun to work with. I think this is hands down the best wedding videographers in the world. Thanks to Garry and axioo for capturing our special moment in our lives and making it so mindblowingly beautiful in a movie!

I first met John and Ruth during the technical meeting, three days before their D-day. When I first saw John, I knew instantly that all he thought about was making this wedding the most memorable day for him and his bride, in a beautiful setting, surrounded by the people they loved most. This is their second wedding celebration, following the first one in Hong Kong.

Seven years ago if someone asked Aulia "Are you living your dream?" I think she really doesn't know what to say. But that night, at a cold winter night in San Francisco, a miracle would happen that would change her life forever. A guy was introduced to her and his name is Raymond, a guy with bad jokes but still, in someway, kept her smiling all night long...

Day by day, evening by evening and through all the rituals of everyday living, their love grows and kept growing, until they realized that they were meant for each other, everything seems so perfect when they are together, even tho not always in the "perfect" way. BUT, that's LOVE, and if that love is true, then it's like living the dream.

And now 7 years later, they are tying the knot, promising to each other that they would hold each others' hands and heart forever and always, to never let go, to never give up on each other...

And now if someone asks you Aulia..."Are you living your dream?", I guess you'll know what to say, you won't even have to think, would you?

Happy monday Guys!

It has been an exciting year so far for all of us at AXIOO, we're constantly amazed at all the blessings that we've received, far beyond what my partners and I ever thought or imagined.

One of the blessings that we got this year in the video department is having another great director come on board as part of our team! Ever since we saw his work, we fell in love in his ability to capture and frame each shots, his natural talent to see great lighting and use it in his shots and his amazing skills to edit the shots together into great short movies! SO when we heard that he was interested to join our team we opened up our arms and more than welcomed him on board.

SO let me formally introduce you all to our newest director, Jimmy Indra [@jimmyindra]. He would be joining our madhouse to help capture your precious moments and translate them into beautiful memories that last a lifetime (Did I really write that down? Sorry if I sounded cheesy, got too over excited).

It’s always such a pleasure to be a part of a friend’s wedding. More than knowing almost everyone of the bridal party, the intimacy of the day just makes capturing it even more attractive. I’ve known Danang and Ruth for a while now, we were friends since Danang and I were both single men on the prowl, going after the women who have now became our life partner. And after all that they’ve been through, it is such a joy to see that Danang and Ruth have finally made it to the altar!

In our lives we are faced with decisions that we have to make everyday. And most of the time the way we make up a decision is we weigh the positives, and the negatives and make our decision based on that fact. But sometimes, some of the decisions that we have to make in our lives are not that simple, especially if the word LOVE has anything to do with it. This particular story is about making such decisions, when we decide to do something just because our hearts feel right, even though your logic and reasons tell you otherwise.

Christian & Melvina were both born in Surabaya. But when Christian got his job, he moved to Ternate. If you don't know Ternate, it is an island in the Maluku Islands (Moluccas) of eastern Indonesia. Although separated by miles apart, nothing can stop them from falling in love with each other. And though they know the challenges of having a long distance relationship, still kept their love for each other strong.

Another big decision came at the time when Christian proposed to Melvina. Christian asked Melvina to move with him to Ternate after the wedding. It was definitely a big decision for Melvina, she was asked to move out of her comfort zone to be with the one she loves deeply. After a careful thought and deliberation with her mom, Melvina finally followed her heart and said yes to moving with Christian to Ternate, leaving her friends and families in Surabaya to start their new family together in the Eastern part of Indonesia.

One thing I've always believe, is that when everything else seemed like a blur and you're not sure which decision to take, always follow your heart. Once again congratulation to both of you. Here's to making a heart decision!

Dream Weddings Do Come True.

Sweet, romantic, calm, supportive, fun, and intimate, those are the words that came into my head when I captured their dream wedding. It's actually Shau Fun's dream wedding (well I think lots of girls' dream wedding as well).

I remember the first time I met Kent and Shau Fun, my very first impression was Kent and Shau Fun is a very romantic and fun couple. Ken himself is very active and driven. His love of sport, esp. badminton drove him to be a very good badminton player. In fact, it was this same drive that got him his dream girl, and his dream wedding. The first time Kent expressed his feeling towards Shau Fan, he got a silent and cold treatment from her. But that didn't stop the driven guy as he kept his faith in getting her. As we all can see, his faith and drive bore fruit as he finally was able to tie the knot with his dream girl and he got his dream wedding.

What I like most about their wedding was the attention to details, all the little things that they prepared, and also, the fact that most of their friends were very supportive and crazy at the same time. Not only that, Kent and Shau Fun surprised everyone with their attractive dancing which they really put effort into. It was a nice change of pace as most of the time we see the couple doing a slow first dance, but Kent and Shau Fun gave a high energy, fast paced, electrifying dance!

Kent and Shau Fun, I would like to congratulate you both for your dream wedding. I believe that after this you both would build for yourselves a dream family as well. Wishing you a veryyy loooooonnnnngggggg "Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.......(unlimited)mmmmmmm Seng!"

Happy Weekends guys! All this time we've shown you countless movie trailers and same day edits of weddings we are honored to shoot. But what we've not shown in our blog is a full movie that we usually give only to our clients. The main reason is that it's usually much longer than trailers or same day edits, we're worried that it would take too long to load, and also, the word 'boring' always comes to mind when watching a full long movie.

So at the beginning of the year, we gave all all our editors a simple challenge, to make the long full movie of a wedding as attractive and beautiful as a wedding trailer or a same day edit, but yet captures the essence and tells the complete story of the wedding. We know that this is not a simple task, so for the next few months our editors gave their best to make the full movie better and better. After a while, the efforts slowly began to show in their work. And recently, one of our editors Vero Joo, turned Ayu and Haryo Wedding movie into a really beautiful masterpiece. The wedding was already beautiful in itself, it has all the materials to be an ideal wedding, everything of that wedding was just perfectly beautiful. But Vero did an excellent job in putting together all the beautiful materials and turning it into an excellent movie. We are so proud of the edit that we decided to do something that we usually don't do, that's to show a long movie in our blog!

So, we hope you guys can take the time to watch the clip. For some who has a slower internet connection, this might take a while so be prepared to let it load for a bit before watching it. But what I can guarantee you is that this movie will be worth the wait! Enjoy!
