Here's a lot more from our trip :) We found a really cool hotel for our stay in Dijon, actually it wasn't in Dijon...it was in a little town out of nowhere. But it's too beautiful to miss it. Abbaye de la Bussiere, is not your typical hotel...it's the one hotel we'll remember for a long time. Sometimes we underestimate the importance of choosing a hotel, thinking that we'll only use it to sleep. To me, the right hotel can make a world of a difference...be sure to check them out. I spend quite sometime to find what's unique in a city, where to stay, what to eat, what's in season, etc...this way we'll have a rich & memorable travel experience.

For Adrian & Sanny, it doesn't matter where they go, they are just so in love and they look good it every shot. During this trip, we didn't feel like it's a photo trip, but it's more like a 'roadtrip' with a bunch of good friends (with Hany & Andre as well). So much food to eat, good time to share...surely a lifetime to remember :)

Ok where should i begin? Adrian & Sanny is our all-time funniest and most expressive couple ever. After shooting for their pre-wedding last year and wedding day too, here come another series of their honeymoon photos in France :) You'll love it!!

Thousands of unforgettable moments traveling with them touring south of France to Paris. As we drive north, we have at least 6 bottles of wine & cheese to try along the way...good thing the police didn't stop us. The scenery kept changing from the blue beaches in south of France, to the autumn color nearing the mountains and then it snowed before we reached Dijon. None of us knew the way at all, totally relying on the GPS for every turn...thank God we're ok.

This is what we dream of for our Sweet Escape trips. A combination of exploring new places, funny moments and of course kick ass photos :) Enjoy...

Years fly in with a blink of our eyes, and yet some moments are always fresh in our minds as if they were only yesterday. These are some moments that we'll always remember. We're now on our third day of Sweet Escape "France 2009", and I'm now blogging from Lyon, France :) Just can't wait to share some of our moments.

We drove from Nice to Lyon, through the most scenic route I've ever seen. Up through the mountain ranges, we were first greeted by autumn colors and suddenly it started to snow!! We had a wonderful time with these lovebirds.

It feels like Christmas already. We wish you a warm Christmas & a dazzling new year.

We've just realized that we've missed out  Lydia & Benny Barcelona trip, big oops *sorry guys. Partly because we got too excited posting our own 'Barcelona moments' earlier on.

Honestly, we had way too much fun in Barcelona with Lydia & Benny. Our itinerary centered around food, whether it's breakfast, lunch, dinner or even the late nite 1 am tapas supper. Ooo the tapas, sangria, paella, and gastronomic surprises..I would go there again, just to eat ;) But of course the city offers more than just authentic food, the architectural wonders, natural beauty and endless shopping makes Barcelona our favorite destination.

We explored most of the city in a few days, first off La Rambla and Passeig de Gracia that runs through the heart of the city with street performers and endless retails shops. A pit stop at the Boqueria Market is a must! You'll be amazed at how fresh local seafood, varieties of ham (Jamon Iberico), and much more that glued me to linger there longer.

We got in touch with Kim Hyo Jin and Jae. Some of you who are into Korean entertainment might recognize Kim Hyo Jin as a comedian and actress. She is one multi-talented woman! Jae, turns out to be from Seattle, where I went to college. Small world it is. The coolest part is that their wedding dates are the same as mine & Felicia! May 22nd!

They've always wanted to have their honeymoon in Lombok. These days everyone seems to be eyeing on Bali, so they decided to do something different. And I'm always up for new locations and experiences.

We stayed at the Pool Villa Senggigi Beach. All these shots were done around the hotel.

After Paris, we head down south to get more sun, color and fun! A scenic five hours train ride south and now we're in Nice. We chose Nice as our base exploring the French Riviera. For the next three days we'll be roaming in Nice, Cannes, Eze Village and Monaco. 

Hi Hotel impressed us again with new experiences, each room has its own personality and design. We're a big fan of Matali Crasset's brilliant designs, this one wins hands down on creative use of space and color (mind you the room size are rather small, but it's worth the try)...even Lydia & Benny had so much fun on the bed..hey don't get me wrong, i mean reading books n stuff ;p

I can't resist to put these pics of us up on our blog. I know i know we might be the most narcissistic photographers out there ;) But i bet you'll enjoy Barcelona through our eyes. After shooting for Lydia & Benny's Sweet Escape, we still have a day or two left to explore Barcelona, so this is what we did.

Day two of our trip, we're off to explore Versailles :) Got up early and took a quick 30 minutes ride from Paris to the city of Palaces. The Chateau de Versailles is one of the world's grandest palaces built gradually starting from 1624 on 18,000 square meters of land..click on the link to read more on its history. For us, we're more interested in the getting our breakfast at the local market and bike around the palace, rather than lining up for the museum.

It’s the time of the year again, we’re off to Europe with a super cool couple for their honeymoon. Enough planning from half way across the world, now it’s time to soak in and enjoy the trip. For the next 8 days, we’ll be hanging out with Lydia & Benny not only being their photographer, tour guide, food guide but also their friend...

Holiday seasons is approaching. If you noticed, this whole month of august, most malls are having exhibitions on travel.

Rome is the last city for this edition of our Sweet Escape. Very tired but super happy. We realized not only our bags had gained weight from all the shopping, but we also had put on weight. At first i thought after this 2 weeks, i might be in a better shape, considering we walked all day on most days. But i guess we tend to eat a lot more when we're happy, and we always do it in style...ordering the best, feasting like there's no tomorrow :)

Florence is charming. Not as busy as Milan or Rome, yet it is a favorite for many artists. We stayed in the lovely Riva Loft, which technically doesn't look like a hotel. It's a converted charming Tuscan house by the river, with only 10 spacious and uniquely design rooms.

Time really flies...so it's been 3 weeks since i last update our blog. We visited Italy during the last week of our Honeymoon trip. Then as soon as we landed back in Jakarta, we went full speed preparing for our Five Star Wedding Exhibition in Ritz Carlton..(btw thanks again for those of you who came by our exhibition) So here it goes, our trip in Venice (actually this blog was written during the train ride back to Milan)

"What day is it today?" That's a common question when you're in Nice, France. Sunny, colorful and cooling breeze marks your day. On the southern tip of French Riviera, life on the beach is for everyone. Song writer w his guitar on the beach, people lazying around, tanning and relaxing. There's no sense of time.

Greeted by sheeps and horses, Versailles is a sleepy and charming little town just 30 minutes outside of Paris. This where the once upon a time. King Louis splendor palace and Queen Marie Antoinette impressed the world. We got there early, the morning fog and countryside scenery is so refreshing. Perfect for a cup of hot chocolate.

Welcome to the city of love! With each turn, you'll find romance. Paris won our hearts instantly.

Still the most visited of all the European cities, Paris boasts numerous iconic landmarks, museums and shopping heaven. We start our day by walking on the left bank of Siene River, slowly making our way to Notre Dame. The view is breathtaking!

So here comes the first part of our trip. London is much cooler than we thought. None of us was prepared for the weather, but the cool early spring breeze is really refreshing.

In less than 24 hours we're leaving for a 2 weeks honeymoon trip to Europe with the coolest couples.

I know it's gonna be great! This is so exciting.
Actually the excitement starts weeks ago, starting from booking our tickets on the latest Singapore Airline A380 to London, choosing cool hotels, and planning the detail itinerary. We love the flexibility of planning our own trip, visiting only the places we fancy and dining any where we please. It's a honeymoon! Just a glimpse, we'll ride on hot air balloon in Tuscany, drive along the French Riviera and dine in Jamie Oliver's Fifteen (I'm a big fan)
