I can’t tell you how much thrill we get out of conceptual photo shoots here at AXIOO. From the photographers to stylists, to editors and designers, we all get super excited when clients feel the rush to do experiments on concepts for their shoot. We thrive on birthing concepts based on the client’s personalities, their story, or something distinctive that makes them who they are. Originality excites us and we just know that we’d have a ton of fun carrying it out!
One of my favorite pastime since high school, like most girls probably, is to watch and re-watch romantic movies. I could become Ms. Couch Potato and date McDonald’s milkshakes and fries for a whole day. I’d watch movies I’ve seen before, every time feeling like the first time, and cry happy tears despite already knowing what would happen and how the movie would end. And knowing that each one would end in a happy ending, despite the conflicts and dramatic twists, is soothing for me.
Once in a while we like to come up with a post that is not wedding related.
This post is really a treat for the visual FX 'nerds' and budding visual artists, or even those of you who love to watch cool action movies with plenty of visual FX. We got the chance to interview a professional visual FX artist who's been involved with many major Blockbuster movies like Transformers, The Priests, The Underworld and the most reason Blockbuster, The Avengers Movie, along with many more movies and productions. Her name is Debora Santosa, or Deb for short. She is the older sister of our very own Fen Soong and we are honored to be able to sit down and get a short interview from her.
So, I'll not say anymore, instead I'll just let you all watch this very cool interview with Deb. We also put together a short montage of some of the movies that she has done. I hope you guys will enjoy it!

Some girls are just born to be in front of the camera and simply look great effortlessly. Ribka is one of those girls… a head turner, an incredibly sweet person inside and out, the pretty girl next door. I’ve known her since last year, we met her and her husband Caleb during their pre-wedding portraits session at the Axioo house and then again in Paris. Capturing their chemistry together was addictive. And then on Christmas, Caleb called us and told us that he wanted to arrange for a surprise gift for his wife: a beauty portrait. And here are some of my favorite shots of her.

We’ve been privileged to be around so many beautiful weddings and we’ve had the chance to be inspired by many of those that have given so much attention into the details of their most memorable day. And because we know it would be really selfish of us to keep it to ourselves, so now we’d like to share it with you!
I was recently commissioned to do a fashion spread for Dream Weddings Bali Style magazine. They are a one-year old bridal magazine focusing on everything wedding in the beautiful island of Bali. Even though they may be fairly new, their distribution reaches to Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia and even as far as the UAE.
We love to hear about how people fall in love. We love to be inspired by their love stories and then turn it into beautiful masterpieces. And we especially love it when they tell us that every time they turn the pages of their wedding book or pre-wedding albums, they are once again brought back to the first moments when their hearts beat faster than ever and when the butterflies in their stomach just wouldn't stop fluttering.
Once upon a time, little girls dreamed of Disney’s prince charming on white horse… but as we grew out of the little frilly skirts into reality, we also graduated from prince into business heir, from white horse into white Porsche.
The world has painted a certain standard for beautiful bride and majestic wedding for centuries; it doesn’t matter where or when. The standard is there and people try their best to follow.
