Have you ever watched Cirque du Soleil? Me neither. I really wish to go to Las Vegas just to watch their shows, but I haven’t got the chance to do that, so I watched their performance via Youtube. I know Youtube experience won’t compare to watching it LIVE, but watching the Youtube video, my imagination already flies along its magical adventure. I love how dark and vintage it feels. It takes me to another world.
That magical wonder is what I want to bring to each and every one of my work, which is why I’m really involved with every detail the photoshoot, from designing the set, the makeup style, styling what the kids wear, et cetera. Everything has to support the theme’s big picture.
Hearing about the theme, everyone was excited for the photoshoot, especially EJ. The days leading to the photoshoot, EJ caught a fever. The morning of the photoshoot, the fever hadn’t left him, but he said to his mom, “It’s ok, mom. I think I can make it.”
We had fun during the photoshoot. EJ had lots of fun playing as a train conductor and ring leader. EJ really enjoyed it, at the end of the day, that’s what matters the most.
I’m happy with the result! I hope you enjoy seeing the pictures too.
P.S. When brainstorming with the stylist about the theme, Wong Hang Tailor immediately popped in our heads. We thought Wong Hang Tailor would be able to pull this off. The results were beyond our expectations. Thank you, Wong Hang Tailor!
