“Ready to torture the boy?”
The SDE Wedding Movie of Kenneth & Sara by Dimar

Oct 2017

Just last week, I flied to Singapore to film Kenneth and Sara’s wedding. I was a little nervous and a whole lot of excited as this is my first time shooting a wedding in Singapore. My goal is to capture real, unscripted moments, because those honest moments are the most beautiful.

My nervousness was gone with the Singaporean wind when the bride held my go-pro and asked her bridesmaids, “Are you all ready to torture the boy?” That moment, I knew, they are being their true unfiltered selves.

Afterwards, the day rolled happily. The games with the bridesmaids and groomsmen games were so hilarious. Their laughters are so infectious that I remembered trying to not laugh too shakily while holding the camera.

It’s such a happy day! Even I’m still high from the mood and, right now, I’m on my plane back to Jakarta and I’m still smiling.

Thank you for trusting me, Kenneth & Sara! Once again, congratulations for your wedding. Wishing you both all the happiness in the world now and forever.

Cheers,

Dimar

Watching me is like watching the fire
Take your eyes from you
Hope it isn’t repetition
Though that’s the only thing
That keeps and takes you
