Since the beginning, Sujono and Herlina wanted a normal birth. A couple doctors were against the idea. However, they didn’t give up. They prayed and looked for another doctor until they found a doctor who supported their decision.
Even though Herlina had the operation option, which could avoid most of the pain and sweats, Herlina chose a normal delivery. She said, whenever I look at Joshua’s face, I almost forget the pain.
Wow. The couple really went through an extra mile to make their moments as real as possible. They even flown from Makassar all the way to Jakarta only for this maternity photoshoot. They understood how precious their moments are and willing to make those moments last forever.
Almost 3 months after the maternity shoot, it’s my turn to fly to Makassar to shoot their newborn baby Joshua. I was very excited. The last time I saw him was on his mummy’s tummy! Baby Joshua was so calm, like he loved getting his pictures taken.
Wanting to experience her motherhood maximally, Herlina took care of Joshua with the help of her loving mother and sister. She didn’t hire any nanny! The new mother said, it’s tiring, for sure, but it’s worth it.
It’s really inspiring to witness the couples determination in living the fullest parenthood experience. Even though it takes a lot of effort, the result is really shown in their satisfied smiles. It’s so amazing.
