All the pictures in this album were taken more than five months ago, but I still remember every detail, every feeling, clearly as if it were taken just yesterday. Every trip that I go on always have a unique story of its own, a different adventure, a memorable story, and I love that. What appeals most to me is with whom I have had the privilege to journey with at the time. I've mentioned often before about how I love to hear stories of how people fall in love and how their love that withstood time and distance or even differences. I love that I learn a lot from them, and that I could pass some wisdom along as I see fit to other couples who need to hear it. I thought that was enough, but during this trip, I've learned that what I bring back from the trip is also just as important. Lessons, memories, a relaxed feeling, broadened horizons... and photos. It may be just a snapshot, but it's a snapshot of a moment that is worth revisiting and reliving every time you gaze your eyes on it. And that's really important. Who knew? (Haha..)
Today I'd like to share with you a fraction of my memories as I journeyed across New Zealand with the attractive Bobby and Yukiko. That country is simply amazing. The breathtaking sceneries and the incredible weather just seemed to keep calling our names out for an adventure. We were there in September, just nearing the end of winter. We stayed in Queenstown, a little city on the South Island of New Zealand, and shot around Lake Wakatipu with the view of the Remarkable Mountain. The trees and its new leaves seemed to give a romantic background to this already romantic couple. And while the temperature was still considerably low, Yukiko still looked radiant and cheerful as Bobby hugged her to keep her warm. Here are a few shots that I like of the trip. Enjoy!
Bobby and Yukiko will be tying the knot this year. I wish you more great journeys ahead. Congratulations!
Cheers,
Jan
