I first met Anthony and Priscilla through a friend of mine in Seattle, and we hit it off right away. Priscilla is a fun, outdoorsy kind of girl, who is also a yoga instructor and a certified scuba diver (a super cool fact that we don’t get to say about just anybody!). Anthony is a walking food dictionary, he loves food and knows all the great places to eat all over the world (another super cool fact that we don’t get to say about just anybody!). They are very much in love with each other and they have a lot of fun together. I just knew that I had to shoot their wedding! And lucky for me, Anthony and Priscilla loved my work and wanted me to shoot for them. So I was both flattered and extremely excited! Later at their wedding, I met Priscilla’s dad and I was surprised as to why he looked so familiar. It turns out that he was my doctor when I was still a kid. Isn’t it awesome when we realize just what a small world we live in?
Their wedding was full of emotions and love. From the vows in the ceremony to the speeches at the reception, everything was heartfelt. It was beautiful! Here are a few of my favorite shots of from their matrimony and intimate reception in Bali and in Jakarta.
