I meet a lot of fun and interesting couples doing what I do and each of them are memorable in their own ways. But this one couple here, they’re definitely one of my favorites. There is just something so addictive about shooting couples who are clearly in love with each other.
Elaine has something inside her that makes her glow the way she does and I think it’s more than just her pretty face. She’s got confidence, kindness, an elegant flair and a strong personality that just shines through in everything she does. And Harry, he’s super sweet. He knows just how to pamper her all in the right ways. I love how he looks at her, like he still can’t believe that she’ll be spending the rest of her life with him and how she’s made him feel like the luckiest man in the world. These kinds of couples don’t need a story. They are the story!
Another memorable thing about this couple was the shoot that we did. We shot in Bali, but more than the usual beach setting, we went for the more secluded areas - a random spot with the cows and a quiet beach with about three hundred steps. The way down was easy, but to climb back up took a little effort. At night, as we were heading back, we saw some fireflies. That was most memorable for me. I got all excited because it is the first time I saw those little glows in the sky.
Harry and Elaine tied the knot last weekend in Bali, and our dear friend Ivan Mario captured the whole beautiful event. So here’s to a lifetime of happiness for the both of you! Congratulations!
