I was recently commissioned to do a fashion spread for Dream Weddings Bali Style magazine. They are a one-year old bridal magazine focusing on everything wedding in the beautiful island of Bali. Even though they may be fairly new, their distribution reaches to Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia and even as far as the UAE.

This would be my first ever fashion spread and I was excited from the get-go. After a short meeting with Diana, who is both the owner of the magazine and the art director for our shoot, I immediately fell in love with the shoot concept. The concept of this fashion spread would
be about the colors of Bali, and the meaning that each color brings. I was also pleasantly surprised to know that I will be working with the multi-talented Amron-Paul Yuwono as the fashion stylist. Paul and I brushed paths several times in Seattle and San Francisco, and I felt so much at ease that he is on my side.

I had a great team working together with me, from the models to the make-up artist. It was never a one man show. This shoot is all about the power of collaboration - the importance of being flexible and accommodating - as a way to ultimately produce an amazing result.
