We have not one but TWO great news to share with you today.
Finally the day has come for us to announce our presence in Bali! (I had imagined how good it would be to say it out loud, but let me tell you, it feels even better!) Bali has always been our favorite destination for Weddings and Pre-Wedding shoots. We have had the honor of shooting countless intimates one there in the Island of the Gods. All this while, we would fly our team, which consist of between four to ten people (including the Axioo Video Team), and every time we fly, we would silently wish for the day that Axioo will set up a permanent office in Bali. And this will be the year it finally happens.
Moving on to the second great news!
Now that we have an office there, we’ve also welcomed a new resident photographer to be based in Bali. Please help us to give a warm Axioo welcome to my friend Andreas Permadi, or more casually known as Adi, who within a quick second readily accepted the challenge. Adi and I have been shooting together for a year now, and with every wedding, he consistently impressed us all with his creative vision, tirelessly searching for a fresh angle to tell a story.
Before dedicating himself to being a full-time resident photographer at Axioo, Adi worked at an architecture consultant as a 3D rendering animator. Here is where he learned about how the beauty of lighting and intriguing angles could enhance the character of the most flat object. He picked up his first camera 8 years ago, and fell in love with it instantly, fascinated by the power of lights. In 2007, he got acquainted with wedding photography and was intrigued by the rush of emotions there is to capture at every moment. For him, photography is not a mere profession. It is an artistic opportunity to ensemble emotions into a story that can be remembered for generations. It is a way to find comfort and freedom. It is where work is play and everyday is a holiday. And we are honored to have him join our team of young talents. It’s great to have you with us, Adi!
So for those of you who are planning a wedding in Bali, be sure to check out Adi’s work. And on the more exciting side, a shoot with Adi in Bali will no longer include any out of town and Bali travel expenses (now since we are local. Ha ha!) Isn’t it great?
Cheers,
David
