When AXIOO first started as a company, there were only David Soong and his partner, who is now his wife Fen. They later hired one assistant who actually does everything from accounting to graphic design and everything else in between. A few years later David wanted AXIOO to have a video department, so he decided to find a trustworthy partner who basically has a similar vision of where AXIOO is going as a company in the next few years, that lucky partner happened to be.. me. Hah! Later on we added Ronny and Yosep as partners in our video Dept.

One of the things that we believed in was that we're not afraid of hiring people. There's never too much people to do the job, and if there's not enough job we'll create a job for them to do :p. Another thing we believed in was we believed in chemistry. We weren't only looking for the best and the most creative, but we were mostly looking for people that we can connect with. So we hired, and hired, and hired, and hired more. Sometimes David would hire someone just because he felt so much connections with the person. Sometimes we had to move people around because we found that they were more suitable in marketing than in accounting, and so on. But because of our believes most of the people became more than just designers, editors or accountants, they become part of a family. In this case, a very big family. A huge family.

And like any other families, we all grew. Most of our AXIOO family were singles when they first joined, then some got hitched, some decided to tie the knot. And at the beginning of this year we get to shoot part of us, our Finance Manager Wenny on her BIG day.

Wenny is a straightforward and detailed decision maker, making her an excellent finance person. But as the saying goes 'opposite attracts', she married Martin, who is a charming, caring and romantic guy, who unlike Wenny, is a very laid back person. I guess we all need that balance in our lives, someone who sees the other side of the coin, someone who puts us into perspective every now and then.

And looking at Martin and Wenny standing at the altar saying their vows to each other, we can't help feeling like her brothers and sisters, supporting her, cheering her on and feeling happy for her as she takes on the step of faith, to start a beautiful journey with Martin.

And as our AXIOO family celebrates our incredible finance manager's big day, I'm holding my breath, dreading for the day when she asks for her pregnancy break.
