Hi All :) Let me introduce myself, I am Fen, a hopeless romantic, the sentimental dreamer who believes in fairytales. I believe that every women's dream of a wedding, has to come true to the very detail of it. We started dreaming of our wedding day from the moment we used our pillow case as our pretend to be veil. Well Disney's princess characters surely influence our image of a prince charming and a life of happily ever after. I am a baby & pregnancy photographer, and I love shooting dogs too and recently addicted to shoot baby birth photography. Writing blog does not come naturally for me, I struggle to find the words. So, inspired by one of the famous graphic designer, Carson's "Forget about the rule" concept, I will say whatever is in my heart.
.... A while ago, i had the pleasure of shooting Cecil for her single portraits, she will soon tie the knot with Jeff on October 1. And I can't wait for the day they say "I do" :)
It was a short portrait session at our home. We had so much fun, we kept munching on snacks and cookies, enjoying cups of coffee, playing with the rabbits while chit chatting all the casual, random topics. All the little details of it all from planning wedding and building a new home, dreams and honeymoon destinations...girl stuff ;p
Shooting for Cecil on her last month of being single, reminded me of the days before I became Mrs. Soong. David and I dated for a little over a year. I still can picture it in my head vividly how he proposed to me, in my favorite city in the whole world, Osaka. It was during my family trip. He got on the earlier flight and surprised me at Narita airport. I remember the night before, telling my good friend over the phone before flying to Tokyo. I said" He is the one! I will marry him one day" My friend laughed on the the other line. And there he was standing at the arrival hall with his ear to ear smile, and his quirky laugh and his Turk's hair style, the super adorable good friend of Tarzan, the gorilla, by the way :) . A few days later, he proposed on the streets of Osaka, then on the 22 of May, I married my prince charming :) That was seven years ago. And there goes my Chapter of Waiting for prince charming.
I always think of our lives as chapters of a book, we live from chapter to chapter, with every decision we steer the course of what happens next. For some of us who are in the Chapter of me, myself and I, my advice to you is enjoy your single life, have BIG dreams, live your life to the fullest, make countless of friends, flourish your knowledge. What you see, the places you travel, the people you meet, the friends you choose will help you grow and discover who you really are before one day turning to the new chapter of Being with your prince charming.
Life is made of countless little decisions. But of course there 3 major decisions, in my opinion, that really defines how our life will become? What do you want to be? What do you want to do? Who is the one person you want to spend the rest of your life with? I want to highlight on WHO is the one person you want to spend the rest of your life with? It is the most important decision in your life. ”Marriage can make your life on earth feels like heaven or hell” So choose your partner wisely ☺
