I love Andy's wedding vow! My favorite...so real yet so true. "I promise you not a marriage without conflict, but to handle every conflict by the wisdom of God. Not a life of 'happily ever after' but always be by your side through thick & thin...."
The wedding vow is the heart of every wedding. It's the promise of being together no matter what happens; to encourage, cherish and be there for each other till death do us part. The wedding is about your commitment to your partner. It's not about where you have it, the guest list, how fantastic is the decor, or what you give away. It's not about how stunning your dress is, or how glamorous the party rocks. All those things will go away in a day. What's left is your promise for each other. So in the light of all spectacular weddings we've seen, I keep reminding couples that all those effort you put into preparing your wedding, do the same for your marriage. Invest in getting to know each other in a deeper level, your goals, your dreams, expectations, plan them all together.
For Andy & Felisia, I'm touched by your wedding, your family and how you love each other. It was a great party, thousands came to congratulate this good looking couple, the decor was fabulous (thanks to Lotus Design), the dress was no doubt stunning (thanks to Elly from Be Gorgeous), nothing could have gone better. But I know it's just a beginning for you. May your life together be more beautiful than your dreams.
